Questions, answered
A clear beginning for every knitter.
Which course is right for a complete beginner?
First Loops is designed for someone holding needles for the first time, while The Thoughtful Swatch is a short companion for learning gauge and fabric testing.
Do I need special equipment?
Each course lists needle size, yarn weight, and helpful alternatives before the first lesson. Basic straight or circular needles and suitable yarn are enough for most foundations courses.
Can I learn at my own pace?
Yes. Video and workbook lessons are structured into manageable sessions that can be revisited whenever your schedule allows.
How are intermediate levels defined?
Intermediate courses assume comfort with knit and purl stitches, basic pattern reading, and correcting a simple mistake.
Are patterns included?
Project courses include the project instructions and preparation notes described in their catalog entry. Materials are purchased separately.
Can I save courses for later?
Select Follow on any catalog card. Saved course IDs are stored locally and displayed on the Fallows page in the same browser.
Can I add several courses to the cart?
Yes. Add a course more than once to increase its quantity, then review and adjust quantities on the Cart page.
How do I ask about accessibility?
Contact the studio with the course name and the format you prefer. We will describe available notes, captions, and lesson structure clearly.
